Raised in Hawaii with an American father and a Japanese mother, Michael Rivas is a multi-talented bilingual performer. After studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music, he moved to Japan and was quickly selected as the main host for NHK E-Tele's Little Charo in his first year. In addition to hosting, MCing, and reporting, Michael has expanded his repertoire to include sports play-by-play and voice acting while actively pursuing a career in music. His DJing style is highly regarded, and he is frequently requested for live commentary and event hosting. A versatile talent, he also handles interpretation for Oriental Land and translates for television programs.
