Born and raised around Chicago, Shion Kanda is a fourth-generation Japanese-American. She has been involved in indie projects and live shows for several years as an entertainment localizer, singer, roleplay cast member, and voice actor. Having grown up in both Japan and the United States, she speaks both Japanese and English at a native level. She also has experience working in Japanese schools as an English educator.
