Originally from Washington D.C., USA, Diana Garnet is a super-cute American who loves everything about Japan, including manga, anime, the Hanshin Tigers, castles, and unagi. With her extraordinary singing ability, she can perform anything from J-POP and anime songs to enka and Western music. Influenced by her father, who was an anime fan, she developed an interest in Japanese animation from a young age. After being deeply moved by Naomi Tamura's song "Yuzurenai Negai," she moved to Japan to pursue a career in singing. While working as an English teacher at a Japanese junior high school and English conversation instructor, she continued to work toward her dream. In the spring of 2013, she appeared on the Nippon TV karaoke competition "Nodojiman The World" to determine the world's best foreign singer of Japanese songs and won, fulfilling her dream of debuting in Japan. Currently, she is active in many fields beyond singing, including voice acting, impressions, teaching English on TV, and design.
